In Bihar, nine school children were killed and 25 injured in Muzaffarpur district today when a speeding vehicle ran over them

Police said, the incident took place at Ahiyapur’s Jhapaha area of the district when these children were waiting to cross the road and the speeding Jeep hit them. Three of the injured are stated to be in a critical condition.

Expressing grief over the tragic accident, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has announced ex- gratia of Rs four lakh to the next of the kin of the deceased.
