Eagles earn promotion

Bangalore Eagles emerged champions of the BDFA 'A' Division League and won promotion to the Super Division here on Saturday.
The undefeated Eagles cruised past ADE FC 3-0 at the Bangalore Football Stadium to finish with 22 points from eight games, taking an unassailable lead.
A brace from Sujikumar (58th, 70th minutes) and a Manivanan strike in the 48th minute sealed the tie in their favour.
Later, Amoes starred with a hat-trick as Students Union drubbed Rail Wheels Factory FC 5-2 in a Super Division match.
Results: 'A' Division: Bangalore Eagles FC: 3 (Manivanan 48th, Sujikumar M 58th, 70th) bt ADE FC: 0
Super Division: Students Union: 5 (Amoes 11th, 36th, 74th. Sunil 28th, Samath 33rd) bt RWF FC: 2 (Rajesh 37th, Nandakumar 85th).
