43-year-old held for hugging woman passenger at Mumbai railway station.

A 43-year-old was on Thursday held for allegedly hugging a woman passenger at busy Mumbai railway station while she was waiting for a local train.

The incident came to light when ASI DK Sharma, while analysing the CCTV footage, noticed that at about 11:25 am a man hugged 21-year-old woman who was waiting for a local train to reach Ghansoli for her work. On suspicion, Sharma immediately directed two constables to reach the spot.

Later, on the basis of CCTV footage and woman's complaint, the molester was nabbed. 43-year-old Naresh Kurnashankar Joshi, who later admitted his crime, has been handed over to Government Railway Police (GRP) in Vashi. A case has also been registered under section 354 (a) of Indian Penal Code (IPC).
