from st. louis where a grand jury has indicted missouri governor eric greitens. he's charged with felony invasion of privacy. this is the mugshot from after greitens was taken into custody today. the indictment alleges greitens took a picture of a woman either fully or partially nude without her knowledge or consent and then transmitted that image so he could have access to it at a later time. the charge comes as a result of revelations greitens had an extramarital affair before becoming governor. there were accusations he had threatened to blackmail the other woman in question by releasing nude photos of her unless she kept quiet about the affair. greitens was released on his own recognizance. (sot state sen. mike kehoe: "my concern is the governor's ability to lead the state. the governor full well knows as a navy seal that he undestands the roles and responsiblities of leadership. it's my opinion we should take that into consideration. we're going to have to figure out his abilities to lead the state going forward is something is is able to do.) this evening the governor released a response to the media. it read in part: as i have said before, i made a personal mistake before i was governor. i did not commit a crime. with today's disappointing and misguided political decision, my confidence in our prosecutorial system is shaken, but not broken. i know this will be righted soon. the people of missouri deserve better than a reckless liberal prosecutor who uses her
