When you are a pretty and popular tennis star, you're bound to have fans who love more than just your game. And that's was Canadian tennis ace Eugenie Bouchard experienced recently in New York, when an unknown man complimented her about her looks.
Bouchard, 23, took to Twitter to explain the incident. "Ok, so just got out of my Uber and walked past the car behind me and the driver goes, you dropped something. I look at the ground and don't see anything, so I go, what did I drop? He goes, my heart. Lmaooo this really happened."
The tweet saw many of her 1.66 million online followers reacting. While some liked the story, others weren't surprised given the player's pretty features. "My heart also dropped when I first saw you," wrote one follower. "So, did you give the heart back to him," asked another. "Plenty of hearts drop when you are around," wrote a third. Bouchard is in New York for the hearing of her lawsuit against the United States Tennis Association for a fall she suffered in the dressing room at the 2015 US Open.
