As many as 29.80 lakh people in Bengaluru Urban have registered themselves in the electoral roll this year. The final voters’ list will be published on February 28.
This includes, 15.85 lakh male and 13.49 lakh female voters, apart from 583 transgender voters, from seven Assembly constituencies in Bengaluru Urban district.
Bengaluru Urban Deputy Commissioner V. Shankar told reporters here on Thursday that after the list is published on February 28, those who were unable to enrol, and those want to change details will be able to do so.
These names and changes will form part of the supplementary list to be published later.
The Deputy Commissioner also released the Election Commission’s logo for the Assembly polls with the slogan “Inclusive, Accessible and Ethical Elections.”
