Rajkot: Three persons, including two women, were killed when their car rammed into a state transport bus while attempting to overtake a biker near Tankara on Morbi-Rajkot highway on Thursday night.
Bhagwati Tanna (45), Hitesh Parmar (19), Geeta Rayankgor (30), Disha Mitesh and Bhagwati’s daughter Sangita Tanna, all residents of Morbi, were travelling together in a car .
“While Bhagwati and Hitesh were killed on the spot, Geeta died in Rajkot Civil Hospital,” a police official said.
The bus also overturned, leaving three passengers injured.
