CHANDIGARH: The Haryana government on Friday suspended two officers and dismissed two others for alleged dereliction of duty in attending public complaints on "CM Window", a web portal launched to redress people's grievances.
A review meeting chaired jointly by additional principal secretary to chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar, Rakesh Gupta, and OSD to the chief minister, Bhupeshwar Dayal, regarding "CM Window" was held here.

During the meeting, it was decided to suspend a naib tehsildar in connection with a panchayat land case in Sonipat district, and principal, Government College, Kharkhoda, for his alleged involvement in embezzlement of funds in purchase of college furniture, according to an official statement.

Dismissal notices were issued to an assistant consolidation officer and another revenue department official for their alleged involvement in converting a panchayat land in Badgujjar village into a private land illegally.

Dayal said that people have faith in the system and the government would have to meet their expectations.

"Those who would show negligence in dealing with complaints received on CM Window would be dealt with strictly. The officials would also be honoured for quick redressal of complaints," he added.
