Prakash Upadhyay, a micro sculptor from Uttarakhand’s Haldwani, has claimed to have made the world’s smallest handmade pencil. The pencil sculpted by him is just five millimetre long and half millimetre thick and has been made from a single piece of wood. The pencil has tiny graphite rod and has been coloured with red and black acrylic colours. Upadhyay uses a pair of tongs in order to use the pencil. He says his name is already registered in the Limca Book of Records for making smallest ‘Hanuman Chalisa’. He also claims that his pencil has been registered in “Assist World Records.”
