Annual fiesta ‘Anandita 2018’ held at Govt Geetanjali Girls College

Spreading the rich colours of Indian tradition and showcasing different talents, the young students of Government Geetanjali Girls College enjoyed the second day of their annual fiesta ‘Anandita 2018’. The fest began from Wednesday at college premises.

Notably, the annual fiesta Anandita 2017 is a compilation of art, technique and sportsmanship. The students are taking the full fledged pleasure of all the events being organized under the grand fiesta.

On Thursday, the students were overwhelmed with the wondrous performances given by the participants at Anandita 2018. The students participated in various competitions held at college premises which made the day a memorable one.

The competitions including mehendi competition, salad competition, flower decoration and the debate competition were held as the part of the second day. A dance competition was also the part of the day wherein the students performed various dance forms leaving the audience enthralled.

As the celebration of annual fiesta was filled with joyous moments, the participant students were able to showcase their talent in various creative fields. Observing the secoond day of the fest the students had a gala time during the annual celebration. The students were overwhelmed to watch the dance skills of their classmates under the event group dance and were also astonished to see the innovative ideas that created the enjoyable atmosphere during the performances.

During the group dance performances, the students presented dances in the most innovative styles. There was contemporary, free style, folk dance and even bollywood performances on social issues. Heavy backdrop and colourful costumes added zest to their performances.
