The sale was on for just three minutes before it showed ‘out of stock’ on both Flipkart and Mi.com. Xiaomi Vice President Manu Kumar Jain tweeted yesterday that it was the ‘biggest ever sale in the history of India.’

That means, Xiaomi sold over lakh units of the two phones in just three minutes. If what Xiaomi claims is true, the company is once again set to break its own records of selling more than five million units of the Redmi Note 4 last year, in just six months.
