Kelsey Serwa consolidated Canada's dominance of the women's Olympic ski cross with victory at the Pyeongchang Games today. Serwa, who won silver in Sochi, beat SX clubmate and fellow Canadian Brittany Phelan -- who finished 15th in the alpine slalom in Sochi -- into silver, with Switzerland's Fanny Smith taking bronze. Canada have won all three Olympic golds on offer since ski cross' introduction in 2010, through Ashleigh McIvor in Vancouver and Marielle Thompson in Sochi. Thompson's bid to defend her title came to an abrupt end after she came in last in her opening round-of-24 heat.
