Facilitating the travel trade to meet and market their tourism products, TTF, the biggest travel show network in India for 29 years, is all set to provide the right opportunity to the travel industry from across India to connect and conduct business under one roof.
Inaugurated today, the 3-day TTF Bengaluru 2018 is being held from February 23 to 25 at the Palace Grounds, Tripuravasini (Near Mekhri Circle), where it is being Co-organised with Sanjeevini Ayush Health Festival.
The event has strong participation of 180 exhibitors from 8 countries and 21 Indian states and union territories. More than 1,000 trade visitors have pre-registered for TTF Bengaluru. Over 10,000 trade visitors and end travellers are expected to walk-in at this edition.
The three-day event is supported by Ministry of Tourism, State Tourism Boards, National Tourist Organisations, private suppliers as well as trade associations. Nepal has come onboard as the Partner Country while Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh are exhibiting as Partner States at TTF Bengaluru 2018, besides the colourful presence of Host State, Karnataka.
The domestic sector continues to support TTF as the most effective and countrywide platform for marketing and promotion of travel and tourism. The State Tourism Boards who have big participation at TTF Bengaluru are – Andaman & Nicobar, Bihar, Chandigarh, Goa, Gujarat, Himachal Pradesh, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh and Punjab.
Other Indian states and union territories such as Delhi, Haryana, Jammu & Kashmir, Kerala, Maharashtra, Odisha, Puducherry, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Telangana and West Bengal are represented by travel suppliers.
The National Tourist Organisations of India and Nepal are participating at TTF Bengaluru while other countries such as Bhutan, China, Dubai, Singapore, Thailand and Uzbekistan are represented through Destination Management Companies (DMCs), travel operators and hotel brands.
Google Premier Partner – Capillary Technologies has joined hands with TTF to conduct a workshop on “How digital is shaping the travel industry.” The workshop will be conducted by Soumajit Bhowmik, Director of E-commerce and Performance Marketing at Capillary Technologies (Google Premier Partner) today i.e. Friday, 23 February, from 3pm to 4pm.
Bhowmik will highlight how digital and mobile has changed the traveller’s buying journey, its implications on business, types of digital campaigns which are currently generating results for travel players and online tools that can enable digital marketing success.
The attendees from travel trade can also gain from insights on how digital can assist in scaling up business and enhance visibility to digital consumers at the key moments of their purchase decision. Capillary Technologies’ Google AdWords Analysts will also be sharing personalised tips with attendees based on their unique businesses.
Placing their best foot forward with a good presence are exhibitors like Google India, Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC), India Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC), Southern Travels, Ezeego One Travel & Tours, Swosti Group, JMD Heritage Lawns (Sadda Pind), Showcase Munnar Association For Responsible Tourism, Hotel The Zen Ladakh, The Royal Adventure Ladakh, Yeti Airlines Domestic, One Bhutan Adventure, Bergamont Group of Hotels, etc.
From day one i.e. Friday, 23 February until Saturday, 24 February, 2pm, entry is reserved for travel trade visitors only. Post 2pm on Saturday, and the whole day on Sunday, 25 February till 7pm, TTF Bengaluru will remain open for all. Entry to the show is free, and every family visiting during general hours will get a surprise gift.

TTF Bengaluru is being co-organised with the Sanjeevini Ayush Health Festival, focussing as the name would suggest, on health and wellness, ayurveda, traditional, alternative, preventive treatment and holistic care, which tie-in well with travel and tourism.
Connecting the travel and tourism buyers and suppliers for 29 years now, TTF series is held in 9 major Indian cities of Chennai, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Surat, Pune, Mumbai and New Delhi.
TTF Chennai concluded last week on a positive note, and taking the TTF 2018 series forward will be TTF Kolkata from July 6-8 and Hyderabad from July 13-14. The series will conclude with West India editions of TTF covering Ahmedabad (September 7-9), Surat (September 14-16), Pune (September 28-30) and Mumbai (October 5-7) in 2018. TTF Delhi has merged with BLTM Delhi and will be organised from October 12-13, 2018.
