CM Raghubar Das on Thursday announced to set up a ‘Foreign office’ in Capital City, where a placement committee will take care of the registration and other issues of people who go out of country for employment. If anybody has any problems then through this committee it can be solved, he said while inaugurating the Post Office Passport Seva Kendra, Dhanbad and Dhanbad Water Supply Scheme (Sindri Package) at New Town Hall, Dhanbad on Thursday.
The Dhanbad Post Office Passport Seva Kendra is 66th in the country and 4th in the State.
The CM, on the occasion, laid the foundation stone of the new secretariat building worth Rs 33.97 crore, EVM warehouse worth Rs 4.85 crore million, Rs 10.46 crore for press club, Rs 3.67 crore for new building of block cum zonal office. Besides this, the Chief Minister also inaugurated the Dhanbad Water Supply Scheme (Sindri Package: Estimated amount-39.80 crore) under JnNURM.
Addressing a gathering during the programme Das said that fly overs will be made to strengthen the transport system in Dhanbad. He said that the amount of the district mining fund will be spent in those districts, where excavation work is done. He said that work is being done in every district in water supply and sanitation. He said that with these new schemes we are moving forward towards new and developed Dhanbad.
The CM said that the government is ready to extend every facility to the people. Electricity will be provided in all households. The villages will be strengthened with connectivity from the cities. He said that for connecting the rural women with economic empowerment, they will be provided with loan under Mudra scheme for making napkins which will be sent to health departments and schools.
Dhanbad MP PN Singh said that the funding of various schemes will be for the benefit of the public. Development work is going on fast in Dhanbad. The public’s expectations are being fulfilled.
Giridih MP Ravindra Pandey, West Singhbhum MP Laxman Gilua, Mayor Dhanbad, MLA Sindri, MLA Baghmara, Chairman District Council, Chairman Cirkunda Municipal Board, RPO Sanatan, Mukhya Dak Mahadhyksh and other officers were present on this occasion.
