Cottonseed oil cake futures fall 1.31%

At the National Commodity and Derivative Exchange, for March contracts dropped by Rs 21, or 1.31 per cent, to Rs 1,587 per quintal, with an open interest of 1,49,950 lots. Similarly, the delivery in April contracts slipped by Rs 19.50, or 1.19 per cent, to Rs 1,617 per quintal, with an open interest of 41,870 lots. Marketmen said the fall in prices was attributed to subdued demand from animal feed makers amid ample stocks in the spot market.
