Vasudhaiv Kutumbakam summit tomorrow

An international conference by right wing teaching community named "Vasudhaiv Kutumbakam" (World is one family) is being organised at NDMC Convention Centre on 24-25 February. DU teacher Dr Sanjay Kumar associated with the organization of the programme said that "India has to achieve the status of Vishwa Guru once again and this will only happen when we realize the importance of words mentioned in our Vedas," said Sanjay Kumar. He also said that academicians have a major role to play in making India stand as "Vishwa Guru".

 The programme is being organized by "Shaikshik Foundation" in which several leading academicians from all over the world have been invited and Vice-Chancellor of various Central Universities, are expected to participate.

Several themes like role of UNO, environment, unity in diversity of cultures, sustainable development, health , world peace and terrorism would be debated and discussed and academicians would read their paper.

"Just as in a family each member has a right to lead a life which is suitable to him individually so also a community , or nation has that right but the right should not come in conflict with those who have a different view-point," said Mahendra Kapoor, organizing Secretary of Akhil Bhartiya Rashtriya Shaihshik Mahasangh.

Principal of DU's Aryabhatta College Manoj Sinha said that "About 4-5 central ministers and about dozen vice-chancellors from several central and state university will be participating in the programmme," said Sinha.
