Yogi-Bhagwat hold closed door meeting

AGRA: Uttar Pradesh chief minister, Yogi Adityanath held a closed door meeting with RSS chief, Mohan Bahgwat in Bichpuri, Agra for an hour on Friday.

Sources said that chief minister apprised the RSS chief about the performance of his government, which will be completing one year next month. They reportedly discussed the issues related to law and order situation in the state and also the upcoming 2019 Lok Sabha elections. It is reliably learnt that the chief minister also appraised the RSS chief about the investors meets, which is being dubbed as a "big ticket" to attracting investments in the state.


The RSS chief also shared his feedback on the government. The RSS chief had recently visited Varanasi where he met with RSS workers of eastern UP to understand the public perception about the BJP and work accordingly for the party in 2019 polls.


Yogi had lunch with RSS chief and then left for Bijnor from where he later went to Mathura to attend several functions, including a cultural event organised by Mathura MP and actor, Hema Malini.
