CM Manohar Parrikar discharged from Lilavati, reaches Goa to table budget

Goa CM Manohar Parrikar has been discharged from Mumbai's Lilavati Hospital and has arrived in Goa in a special flight and is expected to table the budget today, new agency ANI reported.
Manohar Parrikar was admitted in Lilavati Hospital, Mumbai after his health determinate earlier this month. News agency PTI recently reported that Parrikar is "positively responding" to the treatment and his condition is improving.
"Parrikar's condition is stable and improving. Doctors are constantly monitoring his health and he is positively responding to the treatment. Let's all continue to pray for his speedy recovery and long health," PTI quoted Mr Narendra Savoikar as saying.
Parrikar was rushed to the hospital on February 15 after he complained of stomach pain. A Whatsapp forward claimed that Parrikar was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.
The journalist in question was detained by Goa Police after BJP leader Sunil Desai filed a complaint.
After the incident, Goa CMO released the statement stating that Parrikar was suffering from a mild case of pancreatitis. The statement also said that Manohar Parrikar is overlooking the budget preparations and will attend the budget session.
