BENGALURU: Offering a variety of options ranging between continental, traditional and regional Indian food and wine collections among other things, the two-day Bangalore Mirror
Salt Rock, a mega food festival by the
Times Group, will kick start on Saturday.
The fest is not just an event to try out different kinds of foods but also a learn a thing or two through the master classes offered by specialised chefs.
A variety of masterclass, ranging from BBQ (barbecue), Masterclass to Beginners, Guide to Decoding Wine by Gorakh Gaikwad and
Aslam Gafoor, to Chef Paul Kinny’s insights into innovation.
People can also learn a trick or two from Akash Devaraju and Kanishka Sharma of ChefSocial, while understand the art and science behind coffee brewing from Third Wave Coffee Roasters (TWCR) experts.
Pop-up Tea Room
A specially curated experience—The Pop-up Tea Room—will have a melange of desserts and sweets. One can choose six items from a menu of 12 by Spoonful of Sugar and pair that with tea from a delectable selection of teas by TeaBox at the Pop-up Tea Room.
Spoonful of Sugar at Indiranagar - THE destination in Bengaluru for delectable pastries and treats - along with TeaBox, is excited to present a wonderful recreation of the English High Tea experience for the first time ever at a food festival!
Band Profile
Lagori, a city-based band made up of five musicians—Tejas Shankar (frontman ), Vinyl Kumar (drummer), Shalini Mohan (bassist) and guitarists Edward Rasquinha and Geeth Vaz will bring their own flavours and styles to the table, performing on February 24.
Besides Lagori, Neill Braganza Music, an independent Pop-Punk Rock band will line up with the titular Neill Braganza as frontman and guitarist, Akshay Nagmule on drums, Mayur Anneknavar on bass along with guitarists Kiran Kumar and Aditya Rao. This young band is renowned for its own compositions and several classic covers with its own punk rock twist will perform on February 25.
