EPF interest rate reduced to a 5-year low

The rate of interest on Employment Provident Fund (EPF) has been slashed to 8.5 per cent for the year 2017-18. Earlier, 8.6 per cent interest rates used to be given to the subscribers. The move would impact six crore subscribers.
