Actor turned singer, Diljit Dosanjh is soon going to be feature in the upcoming movie ‘Welcome To New York’ alongside Sonakshi Sinha. But it seems like the actor is in trouble now as an FIR has been lodged against Diljit for hurting religious sentiments of Sikh community by singing the song. According to close source to Dosanjh said, “The petitioner has alleged that the lyrics go against the principles of Sikhism. He suggests Diljit Dosanjh should have respected the teachings of the community before singing the song. Diljit has never faced a situation like this one before.”

The reports suggest that Diljit Dosanjh’s team of lawyers is handling the matter as of now. The petition has been filed in Amritsar and Mumbai. The hearing will take place next month.
