YouTube has apologized for a No.1 trending video on its site that suggested a student who survived the Florida school shooting is an actor.
The video, reportedly titled "DAVID HOGG THE ACTOR," garnered over 200,000 views by Wednesday morning.
YouTube removed it by noon that day.
In a statement, YouTube said its system misclassified the video because it "contained footage from an authoritative news source."
