Even though we are a long way from Halloween, the fear of spirits and ghosts seem to have hit the Rajasthan Assembly earlier this year.
On a day that RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav's eldest son, Tej Pratap Yadav, said he had to vacate his government-provided bungalow in Bihar because CM Nitish Kumar and Deputy CM Sushil Modi had sent a ghost there in order to get it demolished, BJP MLA B Singh today said the reason why all 200 MLAs are never present at the Rajasthan Assembly at the same time was because some senior ones believed the structure was built on a cremation ground and was haunted.
It's belief of some Sr. MLAs that Raj assembly was built on cremation ground so all 200 MLAs are never present here at one time. View that there is presence of ghosts is baseless. Doing a 'Yagya' to mend this is not needed, maybe some people are advising CM of it: B Singh,BJP MLA pic.twitter.com/tptlwWN5wI

Mujhe toh sadan mein kabhi bhooton ka ehsaas nahi hua, yeh log shayad kamzoor dil hain shayad ki unko bhooton ka ehsaah hua. Iss tarah ki baaton se logon mein andh-vishwaas phelta hai: Dheeraj Gurjar, Congress, #Rajasthan pic.twitter.com/NQHav6moA8

Congress member Dheeraj Gurjar too rubbished the claims that there were any ghosts in the Rajasthan Assembly. He said that people who felt that the structure was haunted were probably weak-hearted. He added that it was this sort of talk that helped spread superstition.
"Mujhe toh sadan mein kabhi bhooton ka ehsaas nahi hua, yeh log shayad kamzoor dil hain shayad ki unko bhooton ka ehsaah hua. Iss tarah ki baaton se logon mein andh-vishwaas phelta hai," said Dheeraj Gurjar.
