Case against Nirav Modi's partner pending in Mysuru court

A case relating to dishonour of cheque against a partner of Nirav Modi is pending before a city court. Nirav Modi is accused of cheating Punjab National Bank of Rs 11,344 crore.

Amit Kumar Madanlal, the director of Kalash D Jewellery, has filed a case against Chinubhai Choksy, a director of Geetanjali Jewellery, (the firm involved in the PNB scam) over dishonour of cheque for Rs one crore.

Kalash had entered into an agreement with Geetanjali for supply of ornaments worth Rs five crore. Even though former made full payment, Geetanjali violated the agreement. Choksy had issued a cheque for Rs one crore in this connection, which however, returned dishonoured.
