Last week Shobhana Ramachandhran, Managing Director, TVS Srichakra Limited, Madurai, made an offering of Rs one crore here with a request to use the donation for a temple-run Trust managing a hospital meant for handicapped patients, they said. Earlier this month the Chennai based Sri Guru Chandrikananda Samiti Trust had donated Rs one crore with a request to utilise the offering for a temple-run Vedic Trust, the sources said.
