Binu Pappachan’s rival surrenders

Notorious anti-social element Radha alias Radhakrishnan, 35, of Madurai, who is wanted by the Chennai police, surrendered in the judicial magistrate court No. IV here on Wednesday.

According to the police, a total of 21 cases, including nine of murder, are pending against him in various courts. He was a close associate of Nagendran, another rowdy element lodged in Puzhal.

Police said Nagendran and Radhakrishnan were rivals of Binu Pappachan, the history-sheeter who surrendered last week.

K. Lingam, judicial magistrate No IV, remanded Radhakrishnan till February 26 and he was lodged in the Salem prison.
