schnecksville. >>>wendy davis: lehigh county officials are trying something new in the battle against opioid addiction. they've launched a program called blue guardian that targets drug users who are given a dose of narcan to reverse an overdose. within 48 to 72 hours of overdosing, these patients will be visited at home by a police officer and a certified recovery specialist. the blue guardian program also offers resources to patients' family members.
