Missing policewoman: accused’s driver held

The driver of PI Abhay Kurundkar, an accused in the disappearance of API Ashwini Bidre, was arrested by the Navi Mumbai Police Crime Branch. Police said Kundan Namdeo Bhandari (51) was arrested after he appeared to be evading questions while recording his statement on Tuesday. “We felt that he was not revealing important facts,” ACP Nilesh Raut said.
