Mumbai: Sakal Media Group will felicitate successful women who have achieved challenging feats in their respective careers with Sakal Woman Impact Award. Women who have topped in seven sectors including ‘family’, ‘social’ and ‘industrial’ will be selected for this award. To qualify for this award, the achievers should submit their applications before February 25 at Sakal office.
Women who have shown the determination to pave the way for social development with their leadership qualities will be selected for this award.
The women showing commitment to take up issues of 21st Century affecting families and societies will get a chance to win the prestigious Mata Bharati Award. Those working in the education sector will win Education Award and similarly, the Lok Kalyan Award will be given to the one working towards the eradication of poverty.
While selecting the awardees, emphasis will also be given to their contribution to the field of education and skill development. Similarly, women working to control soil, air and water pollution will be considered for Responsible Consumption Award.
The Responsible Production Award will be given to women who have worked to reduce ill-effects of pollution by manufacturing equipment or offering relevant services.
Nominees who are involved in path-breaking work to resolve social issues and for positive development will be considered for the Start-Up Award.
For exemplary work in the social field, the award will be given to women working towards good governance, Smart City and Smart Village. For their contribution in the field of clean and renewable energy, women will be felicitated. The last date to accept the form is February 25.
