‘Trump Organization not to ink new deals in India for 5-7 years’

Kolkata, February 21

The Trump Organization will not sign any new deals in India till the next five-seven years. According to Donald Trump Jr, Executive V-P, The Trump Organization had to let go “of several deals” in India post his father’s presidency. “We have taken a self-imposed call on not going for new deals in the next 5-7 years,” he said here in Kolkata.

Trump Jr, son of US President Donald Trump, was in the city to launch the Trump Tower Kolkata. A call on future projects in India will be taken at an appropriate time. For The Trump Organization, hospitality, resorts and golf courses could be the potential sectors, apart from commercial and residential real estate. Indian cities that excite Trump Jr include Hyderabad and Goa.
