Gift envelops carrying around Rs 80000 cash were stolen from Evergreen Garden at Bhainsakhedi under Khajuri police station area during a marriage function late in the night on Monday.
Police said that the victim Prem Kumar Pathani found that gift envelops carrying cash was missing and after he failed to find a complaint was lodged with the police.
In his complaint the victim stated that at around 11 in the night he found that bag carrying envelops was stolen. He asked family members, relatives and venue staff but failed to find it and later lodged a complaint.
The police have registered a case under section 379 of the IPC and have started further investigation.
During the investigation in the CCTV footage boy was spotted taking bag. Further investigation has been started to nab the boy.
Meanwhile, bag carrying valuables was stolen from marriage function at Aamra Shree Garden under Kolar police station area on Monday.
Police said that the victim Surbhi Gupta had gone to attend a marriage function where her bag carrying gold jewelry and Rs 4000 cash was stolen.
The victim lodged a complaint stating that she had kept her bag near the stage and went to meet someone and on her return bag was found stolen. The bag was carrying a gold finger ring, a pair of gold ear rings and Rs 4000 cash.
Based on the complaint after the preliminary investigation the police have registered a case under section 379 of the IPC and have started further investigatio
