Prime Minister, Narendra Modi will be arriving in Nagaland tomorrow to hold an election rally as part of the BJP campaign for the forthcoming state Assembly elections.
According to BJP Nagaland Unit, the Prime Minister will address an election rally in Tuensang district. Meanwhile, State Chief Electoral Officer, Abhijit Sinha has expressed satisfaction over preparedness for the elections.
In the poll bound Nagaland, political activities are gaining momentum and as part of the star campaigners rally schedule Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be attending a rally tomorrow at Tuensang town, about 269 kilometers away from the State capital, Kohima. Security have been beefed up and all candidates and partymen are anticipating that the visit of Prime Minister Modi will change the mood of the electors in the State.
Meanwhile, all contesting political parties have named prominent National and State party leaders to campaign for their respective parties across the State.
Congress Party President Rahul Gandhi, Sonia Gandhi, Dr. Manmohan Singh are expected to visit the State. Further, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar of the Janata Dal United, NCP National President and MP Sharad Pawar, National Peoples’ Party President and MP Conrad K Sangma are also expected to visit the State.
Besides, prominent State campaigners of the Naga Peoples’ Front party and the Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party are also campaigning in all the areas of the State wooing the voters for support and assuring for an all round development of the State.
Election campaigning by Political Parties will end on 25th of this month at 4 PM. Polling will be held on 27th.
