Steel Strips Wheels Ltd (SSWL) has secured another prestigious export order from BMW. This order covers supplies of about 46,OOO steel wheels, which would be supplied to BMW’s Leipzig (Germany) plant from SSWL’s Chennai plant from next financial year. “SWL has been in strong business relationship with BMW for eight years and this business reflects their level of trust and commitment in SSWL. This business will help SSWL strengthen its position in the challenging EU steel wheels market”, it said in a statement to the stock exchanges. Shares of SSWL gained 1.67 per cent at ₹984.60 on the BSE.
