RAMESWARAM:  After kick-starting his political plunge at Rameshwaram, the veteran actor Kamal Haasan said that he will be a part of household of every family in Tamil Nadu.

Speaking at a press conference held at a private hotel, Kamal Haasan said that the reception from the people are overwhelming and from this day onwards he will be a member of every household in the State.

Responding to the question denying entry into the government primary school where A P J Abdul Kalam studied, the actor turned politician said that "they (government) can only stop me from entering into the school but not from learning lessons".

He also said that it is not only actors but everyone whoever has the will and time should indulge in politics, and one's own business or profession cannot determine the eligibility of entering into politics.

Pointing out the 'International Mother Tongue Day', the actor said that he is glad to reach out the people through his political entry on the day, as he is very much fond towards his mother tongue, Tamil.

Denying the allegation of state BJP leaders, Kamal said that he has a huge respect towards the late President A P J Abdul Kalam and visiting his house is not for a political mileage.

Kamal Haasan also stated that he will take the ideas from all good ideologies of other parties, whichever deem fits the welfare of the common people.

Before commencing the press conference, Kamal Haasan met the leaders of fishermen community and heard their grievances and also sought apology for not spending enough time to interact with the fishermen in a meeting, which was scheduled on Wednesday morning in a private hall.
