All donations towards the Prime Minister's National Relief Fund(PMNRF) and the National Defence Fund(NDF) are notified for 100% deduction from taxable income under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act,1961

The Centre has asked the states to end the water disputes and suggested to evolve a roadmap to end river water disputes as it hampers the national growth.

Union Minister of State for Water Resources, Arjun Ram Meghwal who chaired the Southern States Irrigation Ministers' conference in Hyderabad today said, the water disputes are slowing down the growth and causing unnecessary delay in resolving the issues.

He said the quick resolution of the water disputes will speed up development. He said the resolution made at the end of the conference will help to formulate a roadmap to resolve the water disputes.

Irrigation ministers from six southern states and senior officials of these states attended the conference.
