CRPF PUBLIC SCHOOL GRADUATION CEREMONY

CRPF Public School, Rohini celebrated Graduation Ceremony Cum Prize Distribution Function (KG-V) , "Myriad Hues" - A Rainbow of Colours. Graduation Day, a significant occasion, celebrated on Feb 17 and 18, was indeed a memorable day in the lives of little ones as it marked their very first accomplishment. Chief Guest on the occasion, Rakesh  Sethi, DIG (Adm) cum manager of the school, was welcomed by the School Principal, Nidhi  Chaudhary. The eventful day started with the ceremonial lamp lighting by the Chief Guest and the Principal. After invocation Lord Ganesha, pre-primary students performed on a peppy number and left everybody spell bound with their mesmerizing performance. Another show stealing performance was - 'Harmony in Colours' ; a skit, presented by little stars of kindergarten. The most important part of the day- Graduation Ceremony - was indeed a joyous and memorable day for the little ones as they received their graduation certificates from the Chief Guest.

RK Mohapatra takes over as Director (HR) at Indian Oil CORPORATION

 Ranjan Kumar Mohapatra has taken over as Director (Human Resources) on the Board of Indian Oil Corporation (IndianOil) with effect from 19 February 2018. Earlier, he was IndianOil's Executive Director in charge of West Bengal State Office. A Mechanical Engineering graduate from BITS, Pilani, with a Post-Graduate Diploma in Management from Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar, Mohapatra joined IndianOil in 1987 and has since worked on varied assignments, including  Terminal Operations, Supply Chain Management & Logistics. With in-depth knowledge and acumen in Supply Chain & Logistics, he had been associated with evacuation of finished products from IndianOil's domestic refineries, and product upliftment agreements with stand-alone refiners as well as other oil marketing companies (OMCs).

Piyush Goyal visits exhibition of modern art & sculpture

Piyush Goyal, Minister of Railways & Coal, visited the Art Exhibition by Farhat Jamshed, Installations-18, an exhibition of modern art & sculpture at Lalit Kala Academy, New Delhi recently. He went around the hall, showing interest in each display, he also congratulated Mrs. Jamshed for her imaginative work and fine installations. This Exhibit of Installation 2018 brought together a selection of Jamshed's work in abstract wood and metal, in a three-dimensional dialogue with architecture, history, visual design and nature.  She uses wood in its most natural state, often unpolished, uprooted and uncut in conjunction with neutral colour, debris and metal to create mixed-medium pieces that invite the audience to think of interior space as more than walls.

National Finance Seminar 2018 concludes at NLCIL

The 2nd National Finance Seminar "Enriching Knowledge Sharing through sharing of best practices in Financial Management and Corporate Governance on Emerging Markets" organized on 17th &18th of February 2018, with The Institute of Costs Accountants of India, The Institute of Chartered Accounts of India and the Institute of Company Secretaries of India as knowledge partners at Learning & Development Centre, Neyveli concluded on 18 February. Dr SK Acharya, CMD, NLCIL in his valedictory message, said that corporate Governance and Financial Management  are  fundamentally about improving transparency and accountability within existing systems and should be dealt with  the seriousness it deserves in  the interests of a company's many stakeholders, such as shareholders, management, customers, suppliers, financiers, government and the community.

First international Kala Mela Wraps Up

Sunday was the 15th day of International Kala Mela and with it the fortnight long grand fair of art bade adios. Organized at Indira Gandhi National Centre for Arts, New Delhi, the art fair was organized by Lalit Kala Akademi. This international art fair was attended by artists from countries of Asia, Africa and European continents.  Around 1,000 participants made their way to fifteen-day long art- congregation of International Kala Mela. With a total of 325 exhibition stalls, it had more than 1,000 participants from across the globe. These participants were from countries such as China, Peru, Portugal, Sri Lanka, Poland, Tunisia, Mexico, Hungary, Indonesia, America, Iran, Fiji, France, Czech Republic, UK and Spain. It was organized from February 4th, 2018 to February 17th, 2018. The Mela was visited by more than a lakh art-lovers and the footfall kept rising during the later days. Almost each day International Kala Mela offered musical, dramatic or dancing enchantments.

Gatimaan Express extended to Jhansi/Gwalior

It is being notified that the train number 12049/50 Nizammuddin-Agra Cantt Gatimaan Exp. is being extended upto Gwalior/Jhansi for facilitating passengers. The extension of this prestigious premium train will definitely facilitate movement of tourists to various tourist attractions in and around Gwalior and Jhansi.It will boost the tourism in the region. This extension has been done due to the initiative of MC Chauhan, General Manager, North Central Railway.

Santosh Kumar Gangwar chairs ESI Corporation meeting

The ESI Corporation during its 173rd meeting held on 16 February 2018 under the Chairmanship of Santosh Kumar Gangwar, Minister of State for Labour & Employment (Independent Charge), Govt. of India has taken some very important decisions towards improvements in its service delivery mechanism.
