Under Shahjehanabad police station, over 100 people were duped of over Rs 10 crores of by the directors of Victor Engineering Works in the name of providing partnership to them in the firm. Shahjehanabad police have registered case of cheating, fraud, criminal conspiracy and breach of trust against the accused persons.
Police said plaintiff Amir Khan informed that Victor Engineering Works’ director Aqbal Ahmad and his younger brother Aaftab Ahmad duped him of Rs 11 lakh in the name of offering partnership in the firm. Aamir sold his house to give money to Ahmad.
Meanwhile an NIR Sajid Khan informed that Victor Engineering Works is a 40 year old firm and he knew the accused and so trusted them. He said he had been duped of Rs 2.30 crore by the brothers in the name of providing partnership.
Police said according to information received so far both the brothers have duped people of over Rs 10 crore. ASP Rajesh Singh Bhadoria said case has been registered and hunt launched for both the suspects.
20-year-old dies as car hits bike
A 20-year-old youth died after his bike was hit by a speeding car near Chandukhedi under Parwalia police station area on Sunday.
Police said that two youths were rushed to a nearby hospital after their motorbike was hit by a speeding car where one of the youths died late in the night during treatment.
The deceased was identified as Ajay Meena and was on bike bearing registration number MP04MK 8587. The bike was hit by a speeding car bearing registration number MP04CJ7874.
After the preliminary investigation the body was sent for the post mortem and a case under section 304 A of the IPC and started further investigation. The two were on their way to home after work in the evening.
Youth ends life
Meanwhile, a 21-year-old youth committed suicide by hanging consuming poisonous substance at Berkheda under Govindpura police station area on Sunday.
Police said that the deceased Sonu Mali was found hanging with the ceiling at his house and was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was declared dead. Police were informed and on the receipt of the information a police team reached the spot and started investigation.
The body was sent for the post mortem after the preliminary investigation. The police have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC and have started further investigation.
The reason of the death remains unknown and would be investigated. The family members are yet to record their statements which could help in revealing the reason behind the suicide.
