Ranjith Sankar has finished scripting for his next Njan Marykutty, starring Jayasurya in the lead.According to him, the movie will go on the floors on March 15.

The director took to Facebook to announce the shooting date. He posted: And that's the most tiring and trying script I ever attempted. Hope the enormous effort and time that's gonna need to shoot it will be all worth it. (sic).

While speculations are rife that Njan Marykutty will address the issues faced by transgenders, director Ranjith Sankar, in an earlier interview, had told Express that the movie will handle a very sensitive topic.
