Sivakarthikeyan turns producer!

Following almost all actors in Tamil cinema, now Sivakarthikeyan has also officially turned producer. He will be producing for his good friend Arunraja Kamaraj’s directorial debut. Arunraja is known as a singer in K-town, he has sung the ‘Neruppuda’ song from Kabali and Theri theme track.

On his production venture, Siva said, “Film industry had given me the name and the fame. I owe a lot to the industry. I feel it is my responsibility to help my friends realize their dreams, the friends who have stood beside me through thick and thin, we have always shared the same dream of achievement and glory”.

On his friend Arunraja’s story-line, the actor said: “When Arunraja narrated the script, I was able to connect myself as I also hail from a middle-class family. Sathyaraj sir plays the doting father while Aishwarya Rajesh plays the protagonist”. The yet-untitled film also has Ilavarasu, Rama, and Darshan in important roles.

Dinesh Krishnan will crank the camera for this women-centric sports drama, Dhibu Ninan Thomas will take care of the music and Antony L Ruben is in charge of the cuts. Interestingly, Sivakarthikeyan, Arunraja Kamaraj and Dhibu Ninan Thomas studied in the same college and they also belong to the same city.
