2-day MP Pride 2018 organised at RGVP

A two-day national conference MP Pride 2018 was held at Rajiv Gandhi Prodyogiki Vishwavidyalaya (RGVP). The national conference was organised by the Pharmacy department of the college.

The students and professors of pharmacy department of various colleges of the country participated in the national conference. It helped students new developments in pharma industry. Vice Chancellor Professor Sunil Kumar paid gratitude to the representatives of the pharma companies, as they visited the college and carried out a mass campus drive. He further said that this was the first national level conference was successful for providing direct employment to students from the educational institution.

Sanjay Jain, President IPA Madhya Pradesh Public Relations Sanjay Jain said that only the person associated with the pharmacy should be the selected as the head of the institution in the agencies controlling pharma sector. He told the students about their responsibility by reforming pharma.

Later Swarnlata Saraf, President APTI central area interacted with the students. She presented the data on the growing participation of women in the pharma sector. She expressed contentment about the increasing employment opportunities and improvements in pharmacy education in Madhya Pradesh.

Programme Secretary Prof Nayak said that in this conference many companies including Lupine, Torrent, Bennett Pharma, Eristo, Quiet Care, Kusum Laboratory, Deshpande Lab, Syncom Pharma, Intos Pharma carried out a campus drive for the students. He further said that as many as 50 Pharma companies will be invited for the conference and campus drive. In the Scientific session of this conference, 120 scientific research paper,  64 review Papers, 12 Oral Scientist Presentation was held.

Besides, a dance competition was also held  in which Best Dance was won by Rajiv Gandhi Pharmacy College, Best Oral Presentation was won by Sagar Pharmacy College, Best Research Paper award was received by MIPS Mandsaur.
