Bhopal: A man who was coming to attend a wedding function in the city was kicked out of a moving train on Sunday morning. The accused has been arrested and is in the custody of government railway police (GRP) Bhopal. Deceased Ritesh Singh, a resident of Allahabad, had boarded Kamayani Express on Saturday to reach Bhopal. Little did the 23-year-old know that he would die as someone in the train was under depression and would give vent to his anxiety on him.
Accused Rajju Pal 26, is a resident of Sukhisewania in Bhopal and had gone to perform last rites of his mother in Allahabad. The accused was under depression and he kicked Ritesh Singh out from moving train as he thought that Ritesh Singh may be kill him.
Government railway police SHO Hemant Shrivastav told mediapersons on Sunday said that the deceased was coming with his cousin to attend wedding function in the city and was in the same coach as accused. As soon as the train entered the limits of Bhopal station, the deceased and his cousin Sumit Singh reached near the gate of the coach.
They were standing near the gate when the accused came out and said, “If I die, I will not leave you as well,” and kicked Ritesh out, which led to his death. The accused was caught by Sumit who then handed him over to police. The railway police said that the accused came out and kicked Ritesh before the deceased could understand anything. Police have ruled out scuffle between the duo before the incident.
Accused Rajju told Free Press said that deceased attacked him as they had a fight. However, Rajju did not say what led to fight or who attacked whom first. “They were planning to hit me, hence I kicked him,” he said. According to SHO, initial investigations show that accused was under depression and imagined that Ritesh would harm him.
