Hyderabad: A 24-yr old MBA student committed suicide in her hostel room on Sunday in Hyderabad when she was conversing with her boyfriend on a video call.

The girl has been identified as B Haneesha Chowdary belonging from Anantapur district of Andhra Pradesh. She was a student of Sivasivani Institute of Management.
She decided to commit suicide on Sunday morning during video chatting with her boyfriend Dakshit Patel.
“We don’t have any proof that she attempted suicide while the video call was on. However, she had spoken with her friend on video call ahead of taking this step. Her friend told us that the girl had said that she would commit suicide. He also told us that he saw her hanging,” an official reported.
“A minor quarrel occurred between them after which she informed him that she was going to finish her life,” police officer stated.
When her boyfriend came to know about the incident, he immediately reached to the hostel and took to the nearby infirmary to undergo treatment.
As per the reports, the deceased has been moved to state-run Gandhi Hospital in Secunderabad.

The case of suspicious death has been filed at the police station by his family members. The probe is in process.
