Looks like all is still not well with ‘Dabangg’ Salman Khan and singer Arijit Singh after it was reported that the two were miffed after Salman made Rahat Fateh Ali Khan re-recored new version of ‘Jag Ghoomeya’ song from movie ‘Sultan’, which was originally sung by Arijit. And now according to latest buzz, Salman has once again replaced Arijit by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan for a song from ‘Welcom To New York’-starring Sonakshi Sinha, Diljit Dosanjh, a film which also stars Salman Khan in cameo. Well, looks like ‘Bhaijaan’ is still miffed with the popular singer as he seemed to have done it again.
For those who don’t know or have forgotten about the infamous Salman-Arijit fight, all began in 2013 when Arijit jokingly insulted Salman at an award show saying, “Kya sir sula diya aapne?”. Obviously, Salman was not too pleased with Arijit’s insulting behaviour and since then decided to ban him from his films. But then Arijit got an opportunity to sing for Salman in ‘Sultan’, but much to his dismay, Salman chose Rahat Fateh Ali Khan’s version of the song.
Interestingly, Arijit issued a public apology on Facebook, begging Salman to retain his song but Salman completely ignored him. Arijit wrote, “No problem I apologize here in front of everyone but please it is a request please do not remove the song that I sang for you in Sultan. You want anyone else to sing this song, absolutely fine but keep a version at least. I have sung enough songs sir. But I want to retire with at least one song of you keeping in my library. Please do not take away this feeling.”
