| | Ranchi | in Ranchi

To make maximum use of social media in the upcoming Elections and put more energy into the party workers at the grass root level, a daylong workshop on Social Media was organised by Bhartiya Janta Yuva Morcha (BJYM) at BJP Headquarters in Ranchi which was also taken part by Morcha’s National President Poonam Mahajan through video conferencing (VC).

National IT head of Bhartiya Janta Yuva Morcha  Devang Dave said that the idea behind organizing the workshop was to train the workers looking after social media cell so that the messages of the State President or the Chief Minister from the State Headquarter could be propagated to the grass root level easily.

“During the training, the workers involved in handling social media cell in the districts were told how to reach out to the last person sitting on the social strata through ‘Whatsapp’ and ‘Facebook’,” said Dave. It will help the party to tackle with the negative propaganda being done by the Opposition Parties against the party and the party leaders, he added.

“People attending the workshop were also told how to make use of social media in the upcoming Parliamentary and Assembly Elections for propagating the party ideologies among the masses,” said the National IT incharge of BJYM.  After getting trained from here, they will further train the persons in their areas at the Mandal and booth level making expert to all those involved in social media, he added.

Remarkably, National BJYM President Poonam  Mahajan also addressed those taking part in the workshop giving them tips to make maximum use of the social media and inducting a fresh energy into the workers for the upcoming 2019 elections. State President of BJYM Amit Kumar said that the workshop was held in three sessions and the first session was addressed by the National President of BJYM.

Four persons from each of the districts involved in Social Media Cell took part in the workshop along with other officials of the State BJP, who will further train others at the Mandal and Booth level to propagate the party agenda further into the grass root level,” said the State BJYM President.
