Actor Soubin Shahir plays the lead in director Zakariya’s comedy titled Sudani from Nigeria. Also playing the lead along with Soubin is actor Samuel Abiola Robinson, who hails from Nigeria, and is said to be the first black actor to play the lead in an Indian film.

Sudani from Nigeria has the football frenzy that is part of life in Malappuram, as the backdrop. The Nigerian player comes to Malappuram to be part of a sevens football team there.
