In a major security breach at the Jodhpur Central Jail, Shambulal Raigar, the accused in the horrific Rajsamand hate crime lodged there has released self-shot videos, alleging threat to his life.
Shambulal is currently serving a sentence in the Jodhpur Central Jail for brutally hacking a Muslim man to death and burning his body, all recorded on camera by his nephew in December last year.

Clad in a hoodie with earphones plugged, the 36-year-old in a series of videos talks about the need to put up a united front to fight the 'jihadi forces' in the country.
Talking about jihad that is fast spreading in the country and how the West Bengal government is not paying much needed attention on the issue, Shambulal added that several such 'jihadis' are living under fake names and addresses.
In addition, he also alleges threat to his life in the prison, accusing, reportedly a fellow inmate, Vasudev from Bangladesh of harbouring intentions to kill him.

Days after the videos surfaced, the jail officials searched his barracks but found no trace of a mobile phone. As of now, the security around Shambulal 's cell has been beefed up.
The 36-year-old was arrested last year in a hate crime, wherein he murdered a Muslim labourer in Ajmer's Rajsamand area, allegedly to save a girl from falling into a 'love jihad' trap.
Investigations later revealed that Shambulal was in an illicit relationship with a woman and committed the crime to hide his affair.
