Emraan Hashmi and Rishi Kapoor to star in a horror thriller directed by ‘Drishyam’ director Jeethu Joseph

Mumbai: Actor Emraan Hashmi and Rishi Kapoor will be seen in a key role in their upcoming horror thriller film. The film is yet to be titled and is being presented by Viacom18 Motion Pictures and produced by Sunir Kheterpal for AZURE Entertainment.

Emraan Hashmi is excited for his upcoming film he said in an interview that, “I’m really excited about this one. The film will be a riveting, nail biting treat for fans of the genre and with Jeethu at the helm of things, I’m confident the film will be a game changer”.

A thriller, the film marks the debut of ace Malayalam director Jeethu Joseph best known for Mohanlal starrer, Drishyam, which was subsequently remade into four Indian Languages and is one of the top two grossing Malayalam feature film of all times.

Announcing his Bollywood debut, Jeethu Joseph commented, “Directing a Hindi feature film has been on the anvil for some time and I have been waiting for the right story. This crime mystery thriller with elements of horror has excited me tremendously and we have got perfect casting for the two protagonists in the Film. I am looking forward to start the Film at the earliest.”
