Farm loan waiver is out of CM Devendra Fadnavis’ reach, says NCP leader Dhananjay Munde

Mumbai: Opposition leader Dhananjay Munde while criticising chief minister Devendra Fadnavis said, announcement and implementation of farmers loan waiver is very difficult task and it is beyond capacity of Fadnavis. Munde is on tour of North Maharashtra addressing Halla Bol rally. In Satana city of Nasik district people have installed digital hoarding stating ‘It was our mistake of voting to Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in 2014’.

Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) organised Halla Bol rally is on tour of North Maharashtra during its third phase. In first phase, the rally covered western Vidarbha region, Marathwada in second phase. Addressing the public rally at Satana, Munde said, it was Sharad Pawar (then union minister for agriculture) who had implemented the farm loan waiver scheme worth Rs 71,000 crore without mistakes and without any blunder. “Fadnavis government is working on farmers loan waiver since last few months and still it could not be completed. In fact the government failed to give benefit of loan waiver to the farmers,” claimed Munde and said, it is not in capacity of Fadnavis.

Munde pointed the attention of the people towards the digital boards and said, Satana is the first city which dared to commit the mistake. “It is true, the voters had committed a mistake by voting BJP in 2014 poll. We have to correct in 2019 election and dethrone the BJP from the power,” said Munde and added, the message on digital board will reflect in other cities and by the end of fifth phase of Halla Bol yatra, the return journey of BJP would have begun by the time. In his speech, Munde also criticised Modi government over Nirav Modi and Vijay Mallya who flew out of India by duping nationalised banks for crores of rupees. Sunil Tatkare, state president of NCP appealed people to teach lesson to BJP government in next election. “The people of the state have the only alternate of NCP and we will continueing attack on BJP till it will lose the power,” said Tatkare.


Supriya Sule, Member of Parliament of NCP referred the report of National Institute for Transforming India (NITI) ayog about female foeticide which has expressed worry about decline in numbers of girl child as compare to male child. Sule said, “The Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao’ campaign has completely failed as number of girl child has drastically reduced.” She assured Satana will become malnutrition free once NCP will come in power. Sule also assured farmers to give fair price to farm produce.
