Tbilisi had hosted the professional luxury travel event B2B Luxury & MICE Workshop in Radisson Blue Iveria Hotel for the second time.
The workshop witnessed 30% more international participants as compared to in 2017 owing to the great potential of the regional market. The B2B Luxury & MICE workshop brings together a variety of luxury and destination travel products and introduces them to new markets where travel and particularly luxury travel is emerging.
The B2B was a closed ‘invitation only event’ that had focused on luxury and up-market travel products that is inclusive of destination management companies, luxury hotels and travel destinations through national tourism boards.
A selected number of leading outbound Georgian Travel companies had been invited to attend and have one-to-one meetings with crucial international exhibitors.
The B2B Luxury & MICE Workshop is organized by the British company, TMI that is a travel marketing and communication company that is the part of the Travel Consul Alliance.
It is working in partnership with the Georgian marketing consulting company BRANDOR Consulting.
This year, the B2B Luxury & MICE workshop had brought a few important destinations to the Georgian market for the first time. This includes the tourism boards of Dubai, Greece, Monaco and Slovenia and welcomed the return of Singapore and the Dominican Republic.
