Akshay’s latest release ‘PadMan’ has been made tax-free in Rajasthan. As this movie focused on the topic of mensuration Hygiene. So the Cheif Minister Of Rajasthan Vasundhra Raje on 16 February announced the movie tax free and said, I want maximum number of women to see the film so that the message on sanitary hygiene can spread and people don’t take this issue as Taboo.
Vasundhra also announced that sanitary pads machines will also be installed in various schools and colleges in the rural areas across the state.
FYI…PadMan is based on the real-life story of Tamil Nadu-based social activist Arunachalam Muruganantham, who changed and revised the concept of menstrual hygiene in rural India by inventing a low-cost sanitary napkins making machine.
